Handover cleaning and first clean after building works
After the works, fine dust gets into every track and rail. We get the building ready for the provisional handover or its first occupants, remove building residue without damaging the new materials, and report anything we notice.

Good to know
We remove cement haze with an acidic product on ceramic tiles, but never on limestone, marble or Belgian bluestone: these materials require a different approach.
Report and photos
If we notice damage or finishing defects during the cleaning, such as scratches on glass, damaged tiles or missing silicone, we flag them. On request, we provide a written report with photos, which is useful for your handover meeting.

Techniques we use
TechniquesHEPA vacuuming
Industrial vacuum cleaners with a HEPA filter retain fine construction dust instead of blowing it back into the air.
Traditional window cleaning
Applicator, squeegee and chamois: the classic method for inside and outside windows that can be reached safely. Precise right into the corners.
Microfibre & colour coding
Microfibre cloths and mops pick up fine dirt with little water and product. One colour per zone (washrooms, kitchen, office) prevents dirt from being carried from one room to another.
Frequently asked questions
When is the best time to schedule handover cleaning?
Once all the tradespeople have finished. If a painter or installer is still coming afterwards, a second short visit is often needed.
Will I get a report for the handover?
On request, we record the defects we find, with photos. This report does not replace an expert assessment or the architect’s handover report.
